I will be offering a few small utility programs to download here very soon. Some will be freeware and there will also be a few low-cost commercial products available too. Any sales will help generate some much needed revenue to help fund this site in future! All programs are for Windows XP/Vista only.

AlphaPad 1.0

A quick and easy notepad utility to help you save lists of text in alphabetical order. Just click on the A-Z buttons to automatically load the text files into the editing window. All text is automatically saved whenever you click another button, so you don't have to worry about remembering to save as you continue to use the application.

INSTALLATION

1. Download and run the AlphaPad-Setup.exe file and follow the instructions

2. Install the files to a suitable folder on your hard drive : for example ... C:\AlphaPad

3. Click on the "AlphaPad" item in your start menu to run the program or double-click the icon on the desktop if you created one during setup

Dark Writer 1.0

A FREE word processor for Windows XP/Vista. It may be pretty basic compared to Microsoft Word, but it's ideal for authors who want to knock-up a quick story draft or just make some notes. Its compact size means you can take it with you on the move, as you can run it off a Flash memory stick on any PC. It saves files in Rich Text Format (*.rtf) which is compatible with most other word processors. You can change the font styles and sizes in your text, plus use bold, italic and underline. There's also a find & replace feature and word count to help you keep track of your story length. Alignment options include Left Justify, Center and Right Justify.

I have a few things to finish off yet but hope to release it fairly soon.
